The Hunger Games came out on Friday. It is now Sunday and it has grossed more than $155 million. It is also the the third top opening movie in history. This is the first movie of a series based on the Hunger Games book series. Did you see it or are you planning on seeing it?

Red Tails is a big budget "black" film, which are rare in Hollywood these days. The movie came out today (January 20th) and is a big entertainment topic in the African- American community. Go see it and support black film!!

This movies was based off of true events. It is about Tuskegee Airmen during segregation in WWII. The cast is star filled with some of the best male black stars around like Tristan Wilds, Cuba Gooding Jr., Ne-Yo and Terrance Howard.

_The first big budget action all-black-cast blockbuster in history, brought to us by the man who brought us Star Wars.  Written and directed by black men... this is a piece of Black history that took 23 years to make in to a feature film and get green lit to be shown to the world.  We have an opportunity to affect change, go see the movie and prove Hollywood wrong!  Setting a trend now, will assure more Black movies are made.  Our stories will be considered gold mines.  This movie has a $93 million budget!   Go See it! 

The latest epic from producer George Lucas has just been cast giving it the green light to start filming later in the year

The movie is a world war II action adventure.  Red Tails film is a fictional tale inspired by the true story of America’s first all black aerial combat unit. The film’s title comes from the distinctive red painted tails on their planes.

“I’ve been wanting to do ‘Red Tails’ for 20 years, and we’ve finally got the means to showcase the skill of the Tuskegee pilots,” Lucas said. “We’re working on techniques which will give us the first true look at the aerial dogfighting of the era. And our top-notch cast will really make this story special”.

I can already tell, this is gonna be really cool! 

The newest movie that will star all of Black Hollywood is set to hit theaters March of 2012.  Its called Think Like A Man, based off of Steve Harvey Best Selling book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.  Starring Taraji P. Henson, Chris Brown, Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Meagan Good, Terrance J, Regina Hall, Gabrielle Union, Romany Malco, and more.
