The Hunger Games came out on Friday. It is now Sunday and it has grossed more than $155 million. It is also the the third top opening movie in history. This is the first movie of a series based on the Hunger Games book series. Did you see it or are you planning on seeing it?

Well maybe it's not another B.E.T., but Magic Johnson is in the works to start a television channel with the target market of black people. He wants to call is "Aspire" and it will be available via Comcast. The channel will consist of movies, television shows, comedy, and music. Will you watch Aspire?
  

Comedian Nick Cannon has been having health problems over the past few months. First it was kidney stones and now he just confessed that he was in the hospital for blood clots in his lungs. For a new father, that has to be terrifying to find out. He is okay, but will have to discontinues his morning radio show.

The face and possibly the main attraction of the 2012 GRAMMYs ,singer Adele went home last night with 6 wins. Her songs are raw and sung with pure talent.  Last year Adele lost her voice and had a surgery. There was a risk that her spectacular voice wouldn't return. Thankfully she returned in full force!

Chad Ochocinco is changing his last name...again. Did he moves teams and get a new number? No. He's getting married. He is marrying Evelyn Lozada from Basketball Wives this summer and had decided to change his last name back to Johnson before they get married.

Yesterday there where rumors all over the web that Blue Ivy Carter's godmother was Oprah Winfrey. False, wrong, incorrect. Gayle King cleared it up with these quotes
"It's absolutely not true that she's the godmother," and "She's friends with them, of course, and likes them both very much. She's working on sending them a baby gift. She hasn't even had time to send a baby gift because she's been away." Well the rumor is cleared, Blue Ivy Carter is not the richest baby ever, shrug.

A few weeks ago I posted a blog about Aretha Franklin getting engaged and never giving up on love. Well, I take that back, give up on love because the engagement is off.

Franklin and her long time friend Willie Wilkerson's engagement is off, even though they haven't been engaged for even more than a month. Aretha states "Will and I have decided we were moving a little too fast, and there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly. There will be no wedding at this time,".
