Legendary, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame recipiant singer Etta James has sadly passed away. She lost a war with leukemia this morning. You may not know her face but I can almost guarantee you've heard at least one of her beautiful songs.

Red Tails is a big budget "black" film, which are rare in Hollywood these days. The movie came out today (January 20th) and is a big entertainment topic in the African- American community. Go see it and support black film!!

This movies was based off of true events. It is about Tuskegee Airmen during segregation in WWII. The cast is star filled with some of the best male black stars around like Tristan Wilds, Cuba Gooding Jr., Ne-Yo and Terrance Howard.

As most know, it is MLK Day. A man of strength and foresight in a dark tunnel. How did he know this would happen? Such bad things where happening why did he not give up? He was guided by God and continued in his life's purpose. Sometimes I think, would if MLK had never been obedient, would the Black community be where we are now? They're are still improvements that need to happen,but since he spoke the words "I have a dream", SO many improvements have been made. We can walk out of our house and not be consumed in pure fear because of the color of our skin. Today think about his legacy, think about how we can continue to live in this legacy. Thank You Martin Luther King Jr., for your foresight of a simple dream.

Days after Beyoncé's and Jay-Z's baby was born she was featured on an already hit song, "Glory". This emotional song was dedicated to Blue Ivy Carter. In the song Jay-Z  implies that Beyoncé had a miscarriage.

Blue Ivy Carter is now considered the youngest Billboard Top 100 Recording Artist.
